The 7^th ASEAN Our Eyes Working Group (AOE WG) Meeting was conducted simultaneously with the 7^th Ad Hoc Working Group Meeting on ASEAN Direct Communications Infrastructure (ADI) on January 31^st – February 3^rd, 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Indonesia delegations for the 7^th AOE WG were led by Director of Defence International Cooperation, BG Steverly C. Parengkuan along with representatives from the Directorate General of Defence Strategy, Ministry of Defence of Indonesia and related agencies. The meeting was aimed to continue the discussions from the previous AOE WG meeting and identify what works and what does not in the process of information exchange mechanism among ASEAN member states. The meeting also shared updates on terrorism and each respective Our Eyes Command Center, as well as discussed the official logo, Point of Contact and the next Chair of the AOE WG.

The 7^th Ad Hoc Working Group Meeting on ADI was chaired by Brunei Darussalam and led by Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Strategy, Ministry of Defence of Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Haji Adi Ihram bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud. The Indonesia delegations were led by Chief of Defence Data and Information Center, BG Rionardo along with representatives from the Defence Data and Information Center, Ministry of Defence of Indonesia. The meeting was aimed to discuss the development of phase I and II of ADI facilities.

A joint meeting between the two working groups was held the next day. Brunei Darussalam briefed the Joint Meeting with updates on ADI and how ADI can support AOE implementation as a strategic communication platform that is safe and reliable.
