ASEAN Defence Interaction Program (ADIP)

ASEAN Defence Interaction Program (ADIP) was held on March 7th - 10th, 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The program was officially opened by Head of Language Education and Training Center, Education and Training Agency, Ministry of Defence of Indonesia, BG Ferry Trisnaputra. ADIP aims to build unity between young ASEAN officers as future leaders in utilizing all ASEAN defence capacities and roles for regional security.
Delegates of the program was brought to Taman Pancasila, West Java for seminars on “Leadership Challenges in Digital Era” by Military District Commander 0502/JU Military Resort Command 052/Wkr Jakarta Raya Military Regional Command, Colonel Frega Wenas, and “The Role of ADMM ADIP to Create Future Leaders Capable of Overcoming Challenges Towards a Peaceful, Prosperous, and Secure Region of ASEAN” by Head of American-European-African Affairs Division, Strategic Defence Information Centre, Strategic Defence Installation Agency, Ministry of Defence of Indonesia, Colonel Waskita Adhi. Delegates also participated in team building activities led by the Indonesian Armed Forces’ Psychological Center (Puspsi TNI).

The next day, delegates were brought to Mangrove Park, North Jakarta for Mangrove Planting activities before going to Kota Tua, Central Jakarta for a cultural visit. For the cultural visit, delegates were brought to 2 (two) museums around the area, namely Bank Indonesia Museum and the Jakarta History Museum, also known as Fatahillah Museum or Batavia Museum.
