Indonesia has successfully conducted the 17th ADMM and the 10th ADMM-Plus on the 15-16 November 2023 at Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC). Acting as the Chairman in the meeting is Indonesian Minister of Defence, Prabowo Subianto as the Chair of ADMM and ADMM-Plus 2023. Indonesia's chairmanship theme this year is Peace, Prosperity and Security.

The 17th ADMM was attended by Ministers of Defence of ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste's Minister of Defence as an observer, as well as the Secretary General of ASEAN. The 10th ADMM-Plus is additionally attended by eight Plus countries. The meeting has successfully brought up and adopted various deliverables in the ADMM and ADMM-Plus level.

Following suit, Indonesia also published a Chairman's Statement regarding the Gaza situation which contains a call for a cessation of hostilities, the deployment of the humanitarian corridor, and the urge for United Nations to take more active stances to prevent the escalation of conflict as well as protection of civilians especially Palestinians, and adherence to International Law.
